You will be transferred from your accommodation in Livingstone to the Kazungula border. After clearing immigration you will be greeted by our colleagues from Botswana who will then be your hosts and guides for the day. Game viewing is undertaken by both 4x4 vehicle in the National Park and in the morning by boat on the Chobe River, allowing you to explore and spot some of the spectacular bird life of the region. Game viewing is also superb, as the animals come down to the water to drink. Chobe is famous for its huge elephant population but is also home to a large number of buffalo, various antelope, giraffe, zebra, baboons, hippo, crocodiles and of course the predators – lion, cheetah, leopard and the endangered wild dog. In the late afternoon you are taken back to Zambia Option 2 Same as above but with an overnight stay. The camp will have been set up in one of the specially designated sites within the park – your party will be the only ones using this site and after you leave, all traces of the camp will be removed. Tents with bedding, towels, camping seats and tables, a shower and toilet are provided. Sunsets in this area are breathtaking. Candlelit dinners will be served near the campfire and the feel of Africa can never be more real. Drinks are included in the trip cost, as are all transfers and camping equipment, all meals, and game viewing activities and Park fees. 2 days 1 night Safari Option 3 3 days 2 nights Option 4The Garden LodgeAs with the above itinerary, you will be transferred to Botswana. The Garden Lodge is a small, pretty lodge just outside Chobe National Park on the edge of Kasane town, on the banks of the Chobe River. The lodge has only 5 en suite rooms. Game viewing takes place, as mentioned above, from both land and river. The lodge’s staff is very friendly and excellent food is served. A great wildlife experience in a homely atmosphere. All game activities and Park fees, meals and drinks and transfers are included in the cost. |
